Brian Halligan (HURT\/Saratoga Biathlon) took off at the start and never looked back, leading the mass start wire to wire on a hot and sunny day. Novice athlete, Adam Kaye was second overall, and Tom Moffett (Saratoga Biathlon) was able to shoot his way to third.<\/p>\n

In the woman’s race, Hilary Saucy (PA Biathlon) won the mass start with only four penalties. Deb Nordyke (Saratoga Biathlon) was second, and Hilary’s mother Stephanie Saucy (PA Biathlon) was third.<\/p>\n
