Pennsylvania Off to Flying Start at Eastern Biathlon Festival

Pennsylvania has jumped out to an 18 point lead over New York after the first day of competition at the 2011 Eastern Biathlon Festival. The PA women took the first four spots on the day, lead by Hilary Saucy. In the men’s race Joe Iwan from New Jersey ran the best time of the day.

Sean Halligan took the overall victory in the Accuracy match, beating Curt Schreiner in the finals.

The racing concludes tomorrow with a relay race.
